CVSA and POLYGRAPH TEST INFORMATION

Two methods of truth verification for police officer applicants are available to this firm: (1) a Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) test, and (2) a Polygraph test.

CVSA test:
If you are scheduled to take a CVSA test, it will be conducted by a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) certified examiner at the HCSO main station in Eureka, CA. You will be notified by HCSO when and where to appear for the test.

Polygraph test:
If you are scheduled to take a Polygraph test, the time and date for your polygraph will be scheduled for you by the polygraph examiner, Mike Tufts, whose office is located in Middletown, California. Mr. Tufts will notify you in advance of the test.
